Ingredients needed

Rolled Oats – 1/2 cup heaped
Onion – 1
Green chilli -1 finely chopped
Ginger – 1/2 tsp finely chopped
Garlic – 1/2 tsp finely minced
Tomato – 2 big
Salt to taste

Spice Powder

Turmeric powder – 1/8 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Sambar powder – 1 tsp

For the seasoning

Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – a sprig

For Garnishing

Coriander leaves

Ready to work

Place the oat in the sieve / colander and rinse for a few seconds. Thoroughly drain, let it sit for 15 minutes. At the same time we will prepare Tomasara.


Heat the oil in the pot, add mustard seeds, add it to chopped onions, green peppers and curry leaves when it is stirred.

When the onion becomes transparent, add chopped ginger, garlic and soy sauce for a few seconds.

Than the addition of chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander flour, samba powder and salt.

Cook until the tomato becomes vague, the smell of the spice powder disappears.

Then add oats, mix and cook for 2-3 seconds.

Decorate parsley leaves and serve any raita / pachadi service with your choice.
