Stocks make a muted beginning on F&O expiry
Mumbai September 28 (PTI) Sensex made a warm start, Nifty earlier today at $ 9700 exchange rate ruthless sale.
Betting Down – Today is the last trading session of the futures and options (F & O) sector’s September futures contract, making investors slow.
30 flagship index fell 44.27 points, or 0.14 percent, reported 31,115.54 points.
During the last seven sessions, the measurement fell by 1263.95 points.
Oil and gas, PSU, consumer durables, auto, health care, metals and banking stocks rose 2.2 percent in the index.
50 NSE Nifty fell 43.10 points, or 0.44 percent, at 9,692.65 points.
A devaluation of the rupee today fell 16 points to $ 65.88 a new low six-month low, making traders more tense.
Asian paint, Adani port, ONGC, Suzuki Suzuki and Reliance Industries fell 2.42%.
Hong Kong Hang Seng Index fell 0.35%, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.24% in early trading. Japan’s Nikkei rose 0.29%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.55% yesterday.
