Doctor says Trump’s health excellent, has no cognitive issues

Washington, Jan 17 (PTI) Donald Trump is in “excellent” health and has passed the cognitive test with flying colours, the White House physician said after the US president underwent his annual medical check-up to quell questions about his mental abilities.

It was Trump’s first physical examination as president amid speculation about his mental fitness for office, spurred by the publication of a damaging book that suggested Trump’s own aides worry about his stability.

Later, Trump, 71, attempted to clarify matters by tweeting he was a “very stable genius”.

“All clinical data indicates that the president is currently very healthy, and that he will remain so for the duration of his presidency… the president’s overall health is excellent,” said Navy Rear Adm Dr Ronny Jackson, who shared the results of Trump’s health report.

Jackson held an extraordinary news conference at the White House that lasted for about an hour.

He said the three-hour examination of Trump conducted by military doctors on Friday had gone “exceptionally well”.

Jackson said that Trump asked him to conduct a cognitive test on him, even though it was not required by law.

“A cognitive screening exam using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment was normal, with a score of 30 over 30,” he said.

This exam is conducted in older patients for cognitive disorders like Alzheimer disease.

“There is no indication whatsoever that he has any cognitive issues. And, on a day-to-day basis it has been my experience that the president — is very sharp, he is very articulate when he speaks to me. And, I have never known him to repeat himself around me,” Jackson said.

Asked about a much-discussed episode in which the president seemed to slur his words during a televised speech in December about the Middle East, Jackson said it might had been caused by Sudafed, a medicine for nasal congestion.

In response to speculation that the president has mental health problems, Jackson said, “In my opinion, that s just tabloid psychiatry.”

The doctor also said Trump showed “excellent cardiac results … from a stress test” performed on the president last week.

Jackson said that Trump, who weighs 108 kgs and stands 6 feet 3 inches tall, “would like to lose … 10 to 15 pounds.”

At his weight and height, the president is borderline obese.

“The president has acknowledged he’d be healthier if he lost a few pounds,” Jackson said.

“He continues to enjoy the significant long-term cardiac and overall health benefits that come from a lifetime of abstinence from tobacco and alcohol,” he said.

Based on the blood profile and other health parameters, Jackson said he has recommended diet and exercise plan for the president for weight loss.

Trump has agreed to get rid of 4.5-6 kg of body fat in the next one year by combining diet, exercise and medication.

“He has a history of elevated cholesterol, and is currently on a low dose of Crestor. In order to further reduce his cholesterol level and further decreases his cardiac risk, we will increase the dose of this particular medication,” Jackson said.

Apart from this, Trump has no problems in vision, head, ears, nose, and throat.

When a reporter asked him how Trump managed to be in such good health despite eating junk food and taking diet coke, the doctor attributed this to his genes.

“It’s called genetics. Some people have just great genes.

You know, I told the president that if he had healthier diet over the last 20 years, he might live to be 200 years old. He has incredible genes I just assume,” Jackson said.

Tauranga (New Zealand), Jan 17 (PTI) Dilpreet Singh and debutant Vivek Sagar Prasad struck a brace each as the Indian men’s hockey team thrashed Japan 6-0 in its opening match of the double-leg Four Nations Invitational Tournament here today.

Apart from Dilpreet (35′, 45′) and Vivek (12′, 28′), Rupinder (7′) and Harmanpreet Singh (41′) also scored in India’s win.

The team got off to a dominant start, controlling the ball rather swiftly, passing around neatly and quickly to penetrate the Japanese circle.

India won their first penalty corner of the game in the seventh minute and it was young gun Harmanpreet Singh, who stepped up to drag flick.

His attempt though was blocked but since the obstruction came off his body, India were awarded a penalty stroke.

Experienced drag-flicker Rupinder hardly broke a sweat in converting a stunning goal to fetch India a 1-0 early lead.

India’s second goal came in the 12th minute when debutant Vivek was quick to pick up a rebound and fiercely strike the ball past the Japanese goal keeper earning India a 2-0 lead.

The second quarter saw India defend their lead as they were unrelenting in creating pressure on Japan, pressing them high up constantly, rarely giving them an opportunity to enter India’s D.

Meanwhile, Vivek Prasad found another excellent opportunity in the 28th minute to score, as the Indian attackers broke into the Japanese defence.

Vivek was swift to receive an assist in the circle and put the ball in the goal within no time. The teams went into the half time break with India having a comfortable 3-0 lead.

In the 35th minute, a brilliant run-in from Mandeep Singh, who found Dilpreet in the circle, created a goal scoring opportunity for India.

Though Dilpreet’s first attempt was padded away by the Japan keeper, he was quick to pick it up again and put into the nets fetching India’s fourth goal.

Japan earned their first penalty corner of the match in the 40th minute, but couldn’t find success. In the following minute a foot foul by a Japanese defender won India their second PC which was brilliantly executed by Harmanpreet Singh as India led 5-0.

Chennai, Jan 17 (PTI) Kamal Haasan will announce his political party’s name on February 21 at Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram and begin a state-wide tour the same day.

The tour will be held in phases. He will begin the journey from Ramanathapuram — his hometown — and later visit people from the districts of Madurai, Dindigul and Sivagangai.

It will mark Haasan’s official entry into politics about which he has been making overtures since last year.

“At the commencement of the journey, I intend to announce the name of my political party along with the guiding principles we intend to live by,” Haasan said in a statement on Tuesday.

The veteran actor said he intends to challenge the status quo “that has been plaguing the politics of Tamil Nadu for some time now”.

“However, for this to happen, my thoughts and actions need to collectively resonate with the people,” he said, adding that through the state-wide tour he wants to familiarise himself with the people’s concerns.

“…to truly understand as to what the needs of my people are?, what is afflicting them?, what their aspirations are?,” he said.

Haasan said the tour was “neither an act of rebellion nor a gathering for glamour”.

“This is a journey of discovery and learning and an opportunity for me to truly understand my people,” said Haasan.

He exhorted the people of Tamil Nadu to “question mediocrity” and “raise the bar” of governance and welfare in the state.

“This journey is intended towards that goal. I begin this journey with your support. Join hands with me to empower our country and state,” said Haasan.

“I will see you soon,” he said.

Modi-Netanyahu bonhomie: Israeli PM ready to do yoga with ‘friend Narendra’

New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) The bonhomie between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his “good friend” Benjamin Netanyahu was on full display today when the leaders hugged and shook hands a number of times during their joint press event.

While the visiting Israeli prime minister called Modi a “revolutionary leader” and used an endearment like “my friend Narendra”, Modi responded with great warmth, welcoming the guest in Hebrew.

Netanyahu said he was willing to participate in a “yoga class” with his “friend Narendra”.

“My friend Narendra…any time you want to do yoga a class with me…it is a big stretch but I will be there. Trust me,” Netanyahu remarked, reflecting the deep camaraderie the two leaders share.

The chemistry between the two leaders is well known.

Last year when Modi visited Israel, the first Indian prime minister to do so, he was received by Netanyahu at the airport, a gesture normally reserved for guests such as US presidents.

The overwhelming warmth was also seen when the two leaders took a walk along the Mediterranean Sea during Modi’s visit.

The warmth has continued with Modi setting aside protocol to receive Netanyahu at the airport yesterday.

At the joint press statement, Netanyahu showered praise on Modi.

“You are a revolutionary leader and you are revolutionising India. You are catapulting this magnificent state into to the future. And you have revolutionised the relations between Israel and India,” Netanyahu, popularly known as ‘Bibi’, said.

Modi also responded warmly dubbing Netanyahu’s visit as a “long-anticipated moment in the journey of friendship” between India and Israel.

He further said that the visit was also a fitting climax to the commemoration of 25 years of bilateral diplomatic relations and marked a “special beginning” to the new year calendar, with Indians rejoicing the arrival of spring, hope and harvest.

Modi will also accompany Netanyahu to his home state, Gujarat, on January 17.

UIDAI permits face recognition for Aadhaar authentication

A News by PTI

New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) Aadhaar will include face recognition alongside iris or fingerprint scan as a means of verifying users, helping those who face issues in biometric authentication or have worn-out fingerprints, the authority in charge of the national identity card system said today.

The face authentication will be enabled by July to help people facing difficulty in biometric authentication due to old age, hardwork or worn-out fingerprints, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) said in a statement.

The UIDAI said that face authentication would be allowed “only in fusion mode” meaning along with either fingerprint or iris or OTP to verify the details of Aadhaar holder.

Aadhaar, the 12 digit identifier, is being used for identity authentication across banks, telecom companies, public distribution system, income tax amongst others.

The extent of Aadhaar usage can well be gauged from the fact that an average of 4 crore authentications are being done on a daily basis.

Today’s move to allow face authentication came within a week of UIDAI allowing residents to use a virtual ID to avoid sharing their unique identity numbers when accessing government and other services in a bid to protect privacy.

Face authentication would not require any new reference data as photos of citizens are already on the Aadhaar database.

“This facility is going to help in inclusive authentication of those who are not able to biometrically authenticate due to their worn out fingerprints, old age or hard work conditions,” a UIDAI statement said.

Citing the difficulties faced by some residents in using the existing biometric verification mode, UIDAI said that face authentication offers an additional option for all residents to have “inclusive authentication”.

But it emphasised that the same will be allowed “only in fusion mode” along with one more authentication factor either fingerprint, iris or OTP for successful authentication of an Aadhaar holder.

The new method will also be allowed “on need basis”.

To facilitate the new authentication service, the Aadhaar issuing body will work with biometric device providers to integrate face modality into the registered devices.

Nadal eases injury doubts with dominant win at Open

Melbourne, Jan 15 (AFP) Rafael Nadal says he has no doubts over a knee injury as he destroyed his opening round opponent at the Australian Open on Monday.

The world No.1, a beaten finalist to Roger Federer in Melbourne last year, clinically took apart Victor Estrella Burgos of the Dominican Republic 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 in 94 minutes in the night match on Rod Laver Arena.

The Spaniard will play Leonardo Mayer of Argentina in the second round.

Nadal, who is gunning for a 17th major title, was hampered by a knee injury at the tail-end of the 2017 season.

It forced him to skip the lead-up Brisbane International this month, and he only had a one-match workout at the exhibition Kooyong Classic in Melbourne ahead of the open.

But he said his troublesome right knee felt absolutely fine during his rout of Estrella Burgos.

“It’s feeling good,” Nadal said. “If I did not feel myself ready I would not be here. I am happy to be here and happy to be on court again. I always have doubts, but at the same time I have confidence that I was ready to start the tournament and that was the case.”

Nadal, who wore no protective strapping on his knee, left nothing to chance with eight service breaks and 28 winners in a complete first-up performance.

It took the 31-year-old Spaniard’s Australian Open record to 52-11 as he chases his second Australian title after beating Federer in the 2009 final.

“It’s a positive start with a good result. If I do months without playing official match it’s always a little bit more difficult,” he said.

“But I started with positive feelings. That’s most important thing for me now.

“Of course, there are things to improve. But the thing that I need to improve, the matches will give me those things.

Victories are the most important thing now.”

Nadal needs to reach the quarter-finals to be certain of retaining his world number one ranking after the Australian Open, with Federer breathing down his neck.

Spiky dagger tongue
Gentlemen, let’s talk about it. Where did you learn this move? It does not matter what the woman told you, and then ruined the rest of us? We do not know what you’re doing and why do you think you can find it if you push hard and fast. You want to find the clitoris, just like … there. (On the other hand, G may be tricky, here’s how to find it.)

Although patience is perfectly appropriate, oral sex is not one of them. Soften, slow. Try a flatter, more extensive brush stroke, just as you are using a wide range of paintbrushes. We promise you will find what you are looking for.

Please sit in your face
Interesting fact: we do not like this. In fact, we actually hate it. The only one is you. Absolutely no judgment. When you lie down and relax, why do not you want a vaginal spoon to feed you?

However, ideally, women should be relaxed. It helps when we’re completely relaxed, so if this is your first time with a woman, try to help her be totally comfortable. This usually means letting us back. In our closest places, we have enough self-awareness to have a man’s face. Put us in. When we reach your comfort level and you learn to hit us in all the right places, we can start looking for other more creative positions that may make you excited. Like one of them.

We can forgive a little bit of a tendency to encourage even if you allow us to sit in our seats. And stupidity in sex is undoubtedly a good thing because it adds a level of comfort and intimacy. But there are other ways to express your appreciation for our vagina instead of pushing your face back and forth and flaring your lips. Tip: The same rules apply to our breasts.

Forget this is actually about us
Now is not the time to try out how many fingers you can get there or what’s behind. Of course, unless she specifically requested.

This means that one or two fingers are, of course, possible and often encouraged. If you really want to impress us, you can even try multitasking, paying attention to our breasts. We do not require genie dark vaginal magic. As long as your fingers, gently scrub nipples. You will thank me later If you want to raise this to a new level, yes, the orgasm is real.

Did not read the room
Vaginitis is complicated. We know this, we know you have a mountain to master. That is, their code is code that can be easily cracked, especially if you listen to the wildly blatant instructions we give you. Women use their bodies to help guide you, and we will be straightforward.

If she is arching back or moving left, follow her lead. Similarly, if her legs close to your head and pull back, that is very convincing. Her body will tell you what she wants. If you are still a mystery, a simple “tell me what you like” there will be a long way to go. Just do not ask her this question.

Cheer for yourself
According to Dr. Laura Berman, a sex worker, it takes an average of 20 minutes for women to complete. On the other hand, men take an average of 7.5 minutes. We build differently. Be patient. Do not dive for that. Take your time and plot it. You can save a lot of effort on your chin if you have it with your hands.

Actually make use of this ABCs “tip”
Who told you to spell the letter is in confusion with you. Sadly, this joke is on us all.

Obviously, every woman is different, you have to learn your specific ladies’ preferences, but try to tempt us with your lips and tongue. Most women like to be teased. While kissing in our inner thighs, start with a slight, subtle start. As we relax and become more comfortable, you know when to start moving your tongue with greater intensity and speed – but remember to use a large brush stroke!

Suppose the climax is given
Sexual therapist Ian Kerner said many women need sight or physical stimulation and men tend to rely on tactile reaction and sexual vision. If our mind is elsewhere, it may not be our day. it does not matter. So, if we do not finish it, do not let it ruin the rest of the experience. We are still very happy, we still like you, thank you for your efforts. thank you so much.
